The Phillips Family

This past weekend my family came to visit - ALL of us! They brought Aiden home to us and were able to stay for Sam's baby blessing on Sunday. Aiden was surprisingly very cordial to Sam. He gives Sam luvins and wants to help out with everything - buckling Sam into the carseat, giving him his binky, rocking Sam in his swing, and sitting on him... oh wait, that last one wasn't so helpful. :) We're going to have to work on that one. Rex gave a beautiful blessing for Sam. He blessed him with courage to make correct choices in his life and told of the love his heavenly and earthly parents have for him. Talk about a proud moment for me. I am so lucky and thankful that I have such a supportive, loving, and worthy father for our children. What do you think? General Authority in the making?? I sure love this lil' man!

Well little Sam has finally left the hospital! He went into the NICU weighing 4lb 11oz and left (46 days later) weighing 7lb 10.5oz, healthy and chubby and not blue. :) Pictures will come later when I get to Colorado. Rex is flying out here Thursday night and we'll all drive out to Denver the following morning. I am just thrilled that the wait is over and we can be a family again. Aiden will be joining us next weekend with all my family as well.
