1 - Spent the first day of the year taking Rex to the airport and cleaning the house. Off to a good start... I think. 2 - Aiden is SO excited for his birthday on Saturday. He asks every morning if it's his birthday yet. 3 - Cade had a fever of 102.8 so I took him to the ER. Now we're at the hospital treating him for mild pneumonia. 4 - At the hospital with Cade still. Rex flew in this morning because of the emergency. 5 - Happy Birthday, Aiden! Five Years Old!! I couldn't make the party, but Aiden took me down the slide at Monkey Bizness vicariously through Face Time on the iPhone with him. 6 - Aiden is taking his role of the Five Year Old of the house very seriously. He comes downstairs dressed and helps Sam with his clothes. Whenever I compliment him on being a big boy for doing something good he says, "That's because I'm five. FIVE!!" while yelling that last part. :) 7 - First group piano lesson today!...
