Spring Break at Auntie Mo's!

Image
For Spring Break I drove the boys to Utah to see my sister Monica and her sweet family.  I packed special treats in baggies for them to open one every 2 hours.  At this rest stop, they got powdered donuts and were super excited. We went to a dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point which was super cool... ... but it may have frightened cutie-pa-tootie Hazel.  Seriously, she is the cutest thing ever.  And isn't my sister Monica so stylish and beautiful??   Having fun in a water and sand exhibit  Digging for fossils Behold!  The Megalodon! On another day we went to the Children's Museum.  The kids loved the climbing structure the most. And this was Cooper at dinner time.  A day well played!

March 2018

Just the usual shenanigans... Easter Sunday I finally got a good selfie of me to use as a profile picture! Just the usual cuteness... Min finally got a bone she couldn't devour in one hour. I got Aiden and Sam matching Minecraft jackets.  They thought they were pretty fly stuff and had to show EVERYONE - including the crosswalk lady!

Chinese New Year 2018

This is our first year to host Chinese New Year in our new house!  We had a pretty good turnout of old and new friends. My parents even came out to help!  YAY!  Rex, as always, cooked some amazing food and everybody left happy.

January/February 2018

January had a couple of dramatic events.  First, my ring was stolen by a house cleaner.  The police got involved and she eventually returned it.  Second, we got a flat tire as I was picking the boys up from school.  We barely made it to Big O Tires driving on a flat tire almost to the rim! Cade and Min have an understood agreement that whenever Min barks, Cooper drops some of his food to her.  It's a habit that needs to be broken. Cooper learned how to play peek-a-boo and plays it every time I change his diaper or his clothes.  So cute. Cade learned how to be an astronaut at the Denver Science Museum. Cade has a new friend in the neighborhood. The boys were all huddled around the same tablet one evening watching something. Sleeping babies make me VERY happy! Cooper really REALLY likes macaroni and cheese!  He'll eat half a box all on his own. Sam made a shirt and pants foldi...

Christmas 2017

Can't wait to open up their Christmas PJ's! The jammies came with an extra large Hershey kiss - Sam thought that was pretty cool. Now to go change I'm not sure why my pictures end here... We had a very simple Christmas this year.  Maybe I took that simplicity with the picture taking as well.  Each boy got 2 or 3 personal presents and then they all got a big present from Santa - a Nintendo Switch! It was the perfect Christmas.
