Baby Rambo

Yesterday was Aiden's 15 month check-up at the doctor's office. Here are his stats:

Height: 32"
Weight: 28 lb 1 oz.

Both of these measurements are in the 90th percentile for boys his age. The doctor said we should call him Rambo from now on since he is the size and weight of a two-year-old.

So not only is our kid HUGE, he is also SMART. To prep me for the next visit, the doctor told me to be on the look-out for these developmental signs of an 18-month-old:
  • Can say three words ("mama" and "dada" excluded)
  • Stacks objects
  • Mimics household work
  • Eats a few bites with a spoon
  • Drinks from a sippy cup
  • and a few others I can't remember right now...
I could proudly say that our boy can do ALL of those already. He can say "Hi" "Bye" and "Shoes." He has been stacking objects for a while. And we all know he can mimic household work . Sippy cups are piece-of-cake now and he can eat a whole container of tapioca pudding with a spoon unassisted. The doctor was very impressed. Aren't you??
