Miller Farm
At the front of the farm there's a huge area for kids to play. It had so many fun things - old firetrucks, haystacks, dirt piles, giant trampoline, tractor go-carts, playground, big tires to climb in, and all sorts of other fun things. Aiden and Sam LOVED playing peek-a-boo with Aunti Mo in the firetruck.

Then when we were ready to go out to the fields, we climbed onto the back of a tractor and made stops along the way to pick whatever and how ever much we wanted.
The kids loved it and helped us pick green beans, beets, potatoes, cabbage, corn, carrots, celery, honey dew, butternut squash, and onions. They got good and dirty - the way kids should get!
We made off with our haul for about $2 a bag and probably could have gotten more since it was a flat rate per tractor ride. All in all, it was an awesome day and we will be definitely going back every year!
The morning before Monica and Mason left, we blanched and froze all the corn and green beans. I still have 25 pounds of tomatoes that I need to make into tomato soup or something, but that will have to wait until tomorrow. I'm exhausted! I wish Mo could have stayed longer so we could actually get to half of the things we wanted to do, but we had fun with what time we had and are so healthy now for it too!! LOVESYAMO!
