The boys got to sit on Santa's lap at the ward Christmas Breakfast.
On Christmas Eve, the boys opened their Christmas Jammies and we headed over to Grandma Dixie's house for brinner and early presents with the cousins.
Then we came home and did the usual traditions.
The boys woke up EARLY (5:30) - which meant that Rex and I got approximately 3 hours of sleep - and dug into their presents. Cade's big present from Santa was a slide and Aiden and Sam's was the Skylanders XBox game with a bunch of action figures. Rex and I got a new TV and entertainment center. Thank you, Santa. :-)
"Foddle" our Elf on the Shelf left Aiden an ornament made out of the Christmas tree stump, per Aiden's request. I wish I had taken a picture of the letter Aiden wrote to the elf, but it was something along the lines of, "Hey, you're an elf. You're better at woodwork than I am so turn this tree stump into something cool, like a train or something."
All three boys got some very powerful - it turned out - nerf guns for Christmas. By the expression on Aiden's face, I'm sure it will teach them to protect the innocent and ... other good stuff... right??
Cade got a very cool Thomas the Train ship wreck track that Aiden and Sam were more than happy to help him play with.
