An Easter Eggstravaganza

Yes, I know this post is over a month late, but here's for historical obligations. The pictures would never reveal that this very morning we were all in a frenzy searching for Aiden who had run away. Long story short, he was found at the park OUT of our neighborhood down a very busy street by a lady jogging who had called the police. And how do we punish our runaway?? By taking him to a community Easter Eggstravaganza of course! What horrible parents we are on so many levels... ;)

Love this kid's constant scowl that day...

Talk about one freaky looking Easter Bunny. I don't blame Sam at all for not wanting to touch the rabid thing.

Trying to see his colored tongue from all the candy.

And hooray for balloon ladies! This piece of art lasted a whole 30 seconds.

Sam hung on to his a bit longer. He LOVES hats!!

And back home we dyed Easter eggs. The boys loved it and we only had a 25% egg loss!

Contrary to toddler logic, anything dyed brightly is NOT Kool-Aid.

If it is not Kool-Aid then why is it in the cup? Don't worry about losing Aiden. I know of at least 3 occasions when we lost McKae, at a waterpark, the beach, and crossing a busy street to go to the park. And we still have her. :)
