Overheard in Our Primary

At church today in Primary (children's group) one of the teachers was trying to make the analogy between using a phone and prayer. You can call for help whenever and wherever you need it basically. This is how the lesson went:

Teacher: Who knows what this is? (holding up her iPhone)
Various Kids:
It's an iPod!
No, it's a PHONE!
Not just a phone, it's an iPHONE! (the kid who said this was 4 yrs old)

Teacher:
OK, and what can we do with this phone?
Various Kids: Read books!
Draw!
My Dad reads his scriptures on his phone
Play Angry Birds!

Teacher:
We can also CALL people on our phones... And where can we make these important phone calls?
Various Kids: At the store!
In the car!
Wherever there's a wireless signal!
But not in our neighborhood...

Oh Steve Jobs, you created a wonderful contraption that has totally destroyed this time-old, classic church lesson analogy.
