I Just Can't Stand the Cuteness!!!
Last week the boys watched "Madagascar 3" about a zillion times. This week they've moved on, but now they're reenacting all the circus tricks whenever they can. My favorite (no picture, sorry) was when Aiden was pretending to be the tiger that jumps through the little hoop and said VERY dramatically, "Light.... ze hooop.... on FIRE!!!" and then ran across the living room and jumped on the couch.
Sam has been very excited to learn about dinosaurs at school. Their homework was to find a river rock bigger than his fist but smaller than mine. I thought they were going to paint them to look like dinosaur eggs, but when I saw the display table, I just had to laugh at what Sam came up with. He told me over and over again how silly his dinosaur was with all his bumps.
And Cade has discovered his hands! It's so cute watching him fling his arms around then suddenly stopping them to look at his fingers.
With Cade's discovery of his hands, he's also discovered that he can DO stuff with them now! He's still a tad too small for the exersaucer, but he enjoys twirling the toys every now and then. I can't believe how fast he's growing up!
With the "blizzard" that came this weekend we made some SNOW ICE CREAM! (thank you Pinterest!) And it wasn't half bad! All it took was 8 cups of snow, 1 can sweetened condensed milk, and 1 teaspoon vanilla. The boys stirred it up and it turned into more of a firm milkshake, but a tasty one at that!
And goodness gracious, I just couldn't get enough of watching Rex dress Cade this morning. It was the most adorable thing ever.
Sam showed me how he can get himself dressed, as a big boy should! I think Sam is starting to feel like an older and bigger brother now that he's beginning to realize how helpless babies are. He's no longer the runt!
