Happy Easters
Somehow I didn't get any outside-springy-Easter pictures this year. So all ya get are some groggy Easter morning pictures of my adorably cute boys. :) Oh and some from church.
The boys were pretty excited that the Easter Bunny came. Sam could not BELIEVE that the E.B. knew that he liked to color and gave him a set of 100 crayons. Mind. Blown. The boys also got new summer hats, which Sam loved instantly. I think it's because his hat has been missing longer than Aiden. And Cade still hasn't decided how he feels about hats on his head. Mr. Bunny also knew that they love bubbles and so decked them out with bubble blowers in all sizes. The backyard was filled with bubbles all day.
Apparently the Easter Bunny didn't know that they didn't like Mentos. Silly Rabbit. Mentos are for old people.
Cade caught on pretty quickly that the eggs had candy in them. My other two boys were just thrilled with the plastic eggs when they were little, but I guess by the third child there's enough candy gobbling to catch on more quickly.
After all the candy gobbling and bubble blowing, we had our Easter breakfast - Bunny pancakes with strawberries. Ok ok, they didn't really LOOK like bunnies, but the picture on Pinterest sure looked awesome.
Aiden got a paint-your-own-dang-birdhouse kit from the Easter Bunny which his brothers helped him paint. That Sam kid cracks me up. He kept his hat on until the very last minute we got out of the car to go to church.
Happy Easter from the Phillips!
