Oklahoma: July 4th

We took some family pictures (more or less!)  before we started our traditional shish-ka-bob before fireworks.

While waiting for it to get dark, the kids got to light all the (sissy) firecrackers.  You'd think Cade would be used to loud sounds having Aiden and Sam as brothers, but I guess not!  Uncle Mark and Miles are the cutest father/son combo (besides Rex and my boys of course!)

Sam and Kimber watching from a safe distance.

OK, so THIS is an adorable father/son combo pic too.  I love how Cade is sticking his tongue out.  Rex is such a good daddy.

Aiden had fun picking out which firecrackers to light next.

Yay, it's dark!  The sparklers finally sparkled!  Now onto the ridiculously huge firework show in our own backyard.

Not sure how, but Cade fell asleep in Grandpa's arms during all the booms and bangs.

This is actually a neighbor's house down the way who followed suit of putting on their own ridiculously large fireworks show in their own backyard.  The trees are a good frame of reference as to how big these fireworks really are.  And then imagine that right over your head in your own backyard.  So.  Awesome.

Happy July 4th, Okie Style!!
