A Phillips Thanksgiving

So about that Thanksgiving thang that happened a while ago... might as well post about it now before it's Christmas! For Thanksgiving, we all went to Kathy's place (Rex's cousin) in Colorado Springs where we had a great time.

McKae ferociously cut the fudge.

Marti looked darling.

Mike dutifully fried TWO turkeys.

Taylor chivalrously carried the turkey in like a man.

Anthony (a.k.a. Fat Tony) had no idea he was a car the entire time.

Dixie enthusiastically sang a turkey song right before the feast.

Rex charmingly fixed a couple computer problems.

Sam mischievously ate his mashed potatoes as any toddler could do so... mischievously.

I candidly chowed down my green bean casserole.

Irving dutifully watched football on TV. (Someone had to...)

Aiden playfully avoided eating at all costs.

Shauna dutifully filled Corb's plate before her own.

Roger (I'm running out of adverbs!) was a great dad and uncle to all the kiddos.

Sam and Aiden initiated poor Corbyn to how baths should REALLY be taken.

Aiden unavoidably escaped the bath and streaked across the house.

Then when the day was coming to a close, Martha and Taylor (and the rest of us) cuddled up in our THEATER to watch Super 8.

On Saturday - which is still part of Thanksgiving... - Grandma Dixie held her annual Christmas Cookie Decorating party where all the neighborhoods kids and cousins came to get an incredible sugar rush. I think Corbyn was the most controlled child in the bunch. :)

McKenzie taught Jackson the ways of sugarhood.

Oh baby!

So sweet. :)

And it turns out that Sam has a major affinity to purple sprinkles.

Who doesn't like purple sprinkles?! I loved the picture of McKae hauling Aiden back to the bath - that's a familiar (and hilarious) sight :)

Awesome! Loved the adverbs. I love your hair color too.
