Taekwando
In June the boys got to take their belt test in Taekwando. It was super cute. They try so hard to be tough. :) They used their high, low, and side blocks with the padded clubs.
They showed that they knew their stances.
They rolled off increasingly higher levels of mats and (tried to) land on their feet.
They proved that they could sit still for a minute in meditation.
It was really hard.
They said, "YES SIR!" a lot.
And let the adorableness seep through the toughness every once in a while.
They got to break a board with their kick.
And show proper form to do it.
And marveled at the proof of their super-human strength.
They got to stand up one by one and say thank you to their parents.
And may have needed a few promptings of what to say they were thankful for. :)
Then they knelt down and got their new belts tied around their waists.
KEEYAAAA!!!
And when all was said and done, they had to further demonstrate their awesomeness with their amazing balancing skills.
I love my fearsome boys. ;)
