Must Be Doing Something Right
Last week when I dropped Aiden off to preschool, Sam wanted to go inside and use the very cool miniture-ized bathroom they have. (Oh yeah, I've been slowly potty training Sam.) Sam has been in a VERY independent stage lately and told me to wait outside the door so he could "Me TRY!" I was fine with this and waited patiently for him to do his business. As I was waiting outside the door I had the opportunity to spy on Aiden at his work station. He was at a table cutting some paper and singing quite loudly to himself the primary song, "Follow the Prophet." It was awfully cute, even though I don't think anyone around him could understand what he was singing exactly.
Then a couple days ago I stayed after school to have a parent teacher conference with Aiden's teachers. They were just glowing about him and how they all just loved him. Then they brought up something that had happened that day. They were working on favorites: "What's your favorite color? What's your favorite food? What's your favorite book?" When Aiden got asked what his favorite book was, his eyes lit up and said enthusiastically, "The Book of Mormon!!" hahaha. His teachers know we're Mormon and thought that was pretty funny, as did I.
So go, Aiden Bear! You're turning out to be a good missionary already!
