Preschool Mother's Day

I've decided that Mother's Day is completely different (and much more fun) when your kids start to talk.  Aiden made a book at Preschool about yours truly with fill-in-the-blank sentences about me along with illustrations.  I know this is pretty common fare among kiddos this age, but this was my first "My Mother" book and it just totally made my day!  These are a couple of my favorite pages:

My mother is 5 years old
My mother is funny when she makes a funny face
My mother cooks the best Noodles
My mother is happy when I make funny faces
My favorite thing to do with my mother is help her clean up
My mother looks prettiest in church

Supposedly we make lots of funny faces in our house, according to Aiden!

Since it was a "Mother's Day Tea Party" Aiden then got up to serve me some "tea" (lemonade) which he promptly gave to Sam and himself. :)

Being oh-so-proper while eating our brownies and biscotti

Aiden had painted me a flower pot which we were able to plant a flower in after we were done eating.  He was so proud of it!  Talk about adorable.

And of course Sam thought this day was all about him so he wanted a special picture of him holding the mother's day flower also.

Thank you Aiden and Sam for making me a mommy!  I loves you so much!
