A Superhero Spectacular

I've been trying to keep my boys engaged this summer.  In the mornings (on the days I remember at least...) we have "preschool time" where we work on some workbooks together, "reading time" where we take turns reading books to each other, "chore time," and "exercise time" where the boys can ride their bikes and I go for a walk.  In addition to that I try to take the boys somewhere or have something special planned for the day, like an outing somewhere, swimming, going to the park, cooking day, or library.  Today the Parker Library had a Superhero Spectacular that I thought the boys would just LOVE.  And they did.  Aiden and Sam dressed up in their superhero pajamas and capes. Aiden was Batman and Sam was Superman.  They were so cute and they lived their parts well.

Aiden and Sam got to decorate their own masks, which they took quite seriously.

Oo oo, pick me!!

"If you're super and you know it, flex your muscles!"

After story time and singing, they went through a Super Hero obstacle course to gain their hero badges.  Talk about one cute, fun day at the library!

Wow, good for you! I should be that organized. I got on the internet to get some stuff for "school" for Matthew tomorrow, and here I am checking blogs. Thanks for the reminder. :) But it's fun to see how you're doing! The superhero thing looks really fun. Your boys are getting so big! What cuties!
