Cade's First Week Home
This little baby has captured my heart right from the beginning! Cade is a good baby and loves to smile already. He gets this cute little smirk on his face when he realizes that I'm picking him up to feed him. Aiden and Sam just can't get enough of Cade. Aiden likes to pat his head and give him kisses. Sam likes to say, "Boo!" to him. The boys let me know when Cade is hungry and even interpret his cries for me. "Mom, Cade says it's time to eat." "Mom, Cade says it's okay for me to hold him." And you can tell that Cade loves his older brothers as well. The only time Cade opens his eyes is when he can hear his brothers in the room. Then he looks around and gets the cutest, happiest eyes while watching them. When Cade was having some tummy troubles (I'm cutting out dairy products now) I found that he loves to be bundled up with a warm rice pad on his belly. Cade also calms right down when you pat his bum. Such a cute little doofer.
My mom has been here helping me out for the last couple weeks. Not only does she help out with the boys and Cade, but she's also been extremely helpful around the house - making sure everything is clean and tidy. She cooks dinner for us, takes the boys for outings every day, does our laundry, rocks Cade to sleep for me when I'm too exhausted, has the boys do their chores, and has even found the time to sew some adorable bow ties for the boys and knit a blessing blanket for Cade. Talk about one incredible lady!! I am so glad she's been here
I couldn't catch the picture in time to get Sam rubbing Cade's head, so I asked Sam to rub his head so I can take the picture again. Sam looked a little confused then starting rubbing his own head. Silly pronouns. Silly Sam!
