It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas!
We bought a tree funnel to help water the tree, which went through multiple uses that evening: a walking cane, a battering stick, a means of communications, and lastly (my favorite) a watering device for Sam. I looked in the back and Aiden was pouring his water bottle into the spout into Sam's mouth on the other end. Genius. But potentially disastrous. Sorry boys.
The annual Cookie Party at Grandma Dixie's house! Aiden was much more artsy this year and took great pride in how he decorated his cookies. Sam, however, was just in it for the sugar. :)
After getting that glorious Noble Fir tree home, I (selfishly) claimed it as my own to decorate. The boys were just fine claiming the little fake tree as their own to decorate, though. Aren't they cute??
After going to the Grand Plaza Hotel in Salt Lake City three years ago at Christmas time, I've been wanting to decorate a tree like one I saw there. THREE years. I think that was enough time for me to justify indulging myself in this silly little Christmas wish of mine. And I'm so glad I did. I just love this tree!
