Welcome to the Family, Cade!

Aiden and Sam were SO excited to meet their new little brother.  Aiden wanted to see his belly button right away and was quite surprised to see a big yellow clamp there instead.

Aiden kept saying, "Oh, he's so cute!" and wanted to touch Cade's nose, fingers, toes, head, and everything! Sam took a while to digest the whole thing. :)

This baby is going to be loved by his big brothers, that's for sure!

Grandma Dixie's first time to meet baby Cade.

Grandma Jeanie's first time to meet Cade.

Aiden wanted to hold Cade all by himself and did a very good job.

And now Aiden's learning his first lesson in how to support a baby's head.

Sam wanted his turn to hold Cade.  Sam immediately noticed something was wrong with Cade: "Oh! Where'd his hand go??" He played peek-a-boo with Cade for a bit then.

Sam loves his little brother!

We are a happy family of three boys now!

I sure love Rex.  I couldn't have done this without him.

Once the boys left, it was just Rex and I passing the time until we could go home.  I kept looking over at Cade still in disbelief that he's here and is so perfect.  And maybe also to admire the baby cocoon and hat I knitted for him. :)

This is how Rex spent most of his time waiting at the hospital to go home.

Finally time to go home!  I love how small babies look in these newborn-going-home shots are.
