Christmas Eve

All of Rex's family came in for Christmas this year, and boy, was it fun!  We started with the traditional family egg roll snarfing.  Scrumptious as usual.  Although, the grandkids opted out for chicken nuggets instead.  They'll learn.

Then we had a surprise visit from Santa Claus, who gave the boys some early Christmas presents.

Those presents turned out to be punching gloves.  I absolutely love this picture: the boys duking it out, Rex in pain from an apparent hit, and Dixie in the back cheering on the scally-wags.  And Irving is just laughing at it all.  And Cade is oblivious.

Cade got a much safer gift.  Can't you just see the thrill of Christmas just oozing from him??

Santa then left but not before he got some goodbye hugs and thank you's.

Uncle "Fat Tony" was a good sport playing with the boys.  He makes for a good punching bag, turns out.

Aiden and Sam were on a testosterone high being the champions those punching gloves made them out to be.

Then all the grandkids opened up their Christmas pajamas and called it a night.

At home, Rex read the boys "Twas the Night Before Christmas" and we hung our stockings.
